In an excerpt from Treason- The case against Tyrants and Renegades, Miguna Miguna explains how NASA principals frustrated Raila Odinga's planned swearing in that was to take place on December 12th.

Having written a speech at Muthama's house, Miguna recalled, the three travelled to Jimmy Wanjigi's Muthaiga home where they reunited with Raila.

"Raila excused himself to receive a phone call for around ten minutes. When he came back, he told us that his colleagues wanted the swearing-in postponed to a later date.

"After few minutes, Muthama showed me Daily Nation Breaking news which indicated that swearing-in had been postponed. Orengo was very shocked. Just like him, we were also thunderstruck," he notes.

The new book, which criticises Jubilee administration and the character of Mr Odinga, who has since reconciled with Uhuru Kenyatta, will be officially in book stores across the world on December 20th.

With Miguna Miguna commissioning oath to Raila Odinga a month later, the government kicked him out to Canada on grounds that he was not properly documented.

Despite numerous High Court rulings in his favour, Miguna remains condemned in his adopted country after government refused to hand him new passport.
