Political analyst Herman Manyora has predicted tough days ahead for Deputy President William Ruto, as he (Ruto) prepares to take a shot at the presidency in the 2022 polls.
Speaking on Saturday, Manyora observed that that currency changes and the announced mop up of Sh1000 notes is one of the techniques placed on his way in a bid to trap him.
He based this on the assumption that that DP is corrupt and is hiding money in several places, terming it one of the facts being being used by the Kieleweke team to tame the DP.
Kieleweke is a political grouping said to consist President Uhuru Kenyatta, opposition leader Raila Odinga and their allies and other politicians opposed to Ruto's presidency.
Manyora now argues that the group is working around the clock to destroy Ruto before 2022, and has demonstrated that it will not stop until he is completely done with.
"These people are coming after you and this current thing is just one of these. You will have to be very lucky, you will have to fly without patching. You will have to be lucky all the time," he said on this Take It or Leave It analysis channel.
Manyora advised the DP to give in and surrender to the group, failure to which he will be completely destroyed politically by the larger and stronger team.
He predicted that Ruto stands no chance of surviving, and can save himself by taking the submission route.
"As we pray for you, just remember that submission might be a better option," he said.
He argued that the group has also bee using the Presidency and ofiices sareounding it to haras the DP and his allies, in a bid to force him into submission.
