Speaking after a church service at Riamagige SDA church in Bomariba Motari on Saturday, Motari termed Njuguna's death as a big blow not to only to his family but also the whole country.

"It is heartbreaking that this country has lost a talented individual who had a passion for his work. Personally, I loved his voice on radio and I will dearly miss his jokes which he used to play while at work," said the politician who also urged Kenyans to pray for the family of Njuguna during this trying moment.

"All we can offer to the family of the deceased is prayers during these cold moments. Upcoming journalists should copy a leaf from Njuguna who spent at least 20 years at radio citizen. He was such talented broadcaster," he added.

Motari also appealed to Bomariba youths to take up Journalism course at the college level which he termed as one of the well paying profession in this country.

Njuguna died on Saturday at the Nairobi Hospital after a long illness.
