Four students from Kanyawanga High School in Migori county who are yet to finish their KCSE examinations were arrested on Sunday for sneaking to the neighbourng Tuk Jowi Girls Secondary School in wee hours of the night.

The police, in their speculations about the incident, alleged that the students might have used a mobile phone for communication.

Joel Kiptum who is the OCPD of the region noted that, four boys are in custody, despite 16 others escaping. He added that Tuk Jowi principal informed his members who took an initiative to find the other missing boys.

 The principal said that the students would be punished for their notorious behavior.

The police later released the students for them to continue with their exams and said they would later be required at Rongo police station when the exam is done.

''We released the four on a free bond but will require them report to the station on Friday after completing their exams for further action,” Mr. Kiptum said

He advised relevant school authorities to take charge of the students during this exam period since local could attack them.

“The school (authorities) must be vigilant in securing the school environment because students may end up being attacked by locals,” he said.

The office urged students to be focused as time wasted would never be recovered.
