Ensure you have all the required ingredients if you need to make the most delicious chicken curry. 

Ingredients;

 1/4 cup of vegetable oil

1( 1 3/4 pound/800-gram) chicken

4 medium tomatoes

1 1/2 teaspoons of table salt

1 teaspoon of garam masala

 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh cilantro

4 medium red onions. They should be grated. 

1 tablespoon of fresh ginger paste

Cinnamon and cloves

1/2 and, 1 1/2 and 1 1/2 teaspoon of ground turmeric, coriander and roasted cumin respectively. 

At least 5 green cardamom pods

 1 teaspoon of red chile powder

Here is the procedure;

Place the pieces of the chicken in a large bowl, trim the excess fat from those pieces. On a source of heat, place a saucepan and add oil. Immediately add cinnamon, cloves, and cardamom when small bubbles form at the bottom of the pan for one minute. 

You will need to add onions and sauté when the spices change colour. After the spices have turned golden brown, add garlic and ginger paste and stir continuously.

 Add coriander, turmeric and chile powder and stir then add tomatoes and sauté for 4 minutes and keep on stirring continuously. Cook until the oil appears on the top. 

Add the chicken you had initially trimmed and salt. Then stir. Heighten the heat to high and sauté for at least for 5 minutes until the chicken pieces are coated with the sauce.

 You will then add 300 ml of water and allow the curry to boil for 10 minutes. 

After boiling, transfer to a serving bowl. Sprinkle the garam masala on it and place cilantro.
