Former Mukurwe-ini MP Kabando wa Kabando has lashed out at renowned lawyer Amednasir Abdullahi for allegedly misrepresenting his views.
In a New Year's tweet, Ahmednasir sensationally claimed that the former legislator had said he would tell President Uhuru Kenyatta something sensitive and thereafter, have some people taken down.
Ahmednasir went as far as calling on Kabando to tender an apology.
"Following a tweet by Hon @Wakabando that he will tell something DELICATE/SENSITIVE to H.E Uhuru today and after that "they can kill us"..I posted the reply below. Today we haven't heard what Hon told H.E and certainly nobody is dead. I think he owes us an apology, " Ahmednasir's tweet read.
Kabando in a rejoinder on Thursday described the lawyer's tweet as unfortunate terming it an attempt to trivialise his views.
Kabando, while expressing his disappointment, urged Ahmednasir to come out clearly and declare what his interests are.
"Very unfortunate, dishearteningly so for you, an otherwise highly respected person, to imagine you can preempt, misrepresent or trivialize my points of view. My views are independent. Why are you so uncomfortable? Declare your interests, clearly and boldly. Very disappointed," Kabando fired back.
