Former Makadara lawmaker Benson Mutura has warned the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party of tough times ahead, after the win of it's candidate Imran Okoth in the Kibra race.
Speaking on Saturday, he said Imran will soon be confused and join the list of ODM rebel MPs.
He based his argument on the Building Bridges Initiative and handshake, that has seen the opposition work with government.
"On which side will he be voting in Parliament now that Jubilee and ODM are together? (Huyu sasa akienda bunge atapiga kura ODM ama Jubilee? Vile sasa wako pamoja?)," he posed during a panel discussion on Radio Jambo.
According to Mutura, the party has just doubled the trouble it had been undergoing under Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa, who has since dumped it for Deputy President William Ruto's camp.
"This was a handshake candidate and not ODM. Leave alone Aisha Jumwa, this one will be more troublesome (Huyu ni wa handshake sio ODM. Wacha vile munasema Aisha Jumwa anawasumbua, huyu ndiye mwingine)," he added.
