According to reports, President Uhuru Kenyatta is keen to stamp his authority in both houses of Parliament and that all perceived rebels are targeted in house leadership with the Mumias East lawmaker said to be one of those targeted.

However, while responding to the ouster claims, the firebrand lawmaker, who is a key ally of the Deputy President William Ruto, dared the party to oust him.

" I am not aware, but if they want to remove us from our positions, they can go ahead and do it," the lawmaker said.

Also on the chopping list is Senate Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen and Senate Majority Whip Susan Kihika.

The trio has been accused of undermining the President amid the political tug of war that has characterized the Jubilee party leadership over the last few months.

Murkomen, Kihika and Washiali are known Ruto foot soldiers and have been very vocal in criticizing the country's leadership despite being in government.

They have also been very critical of the Building Bridges Initiative which is the product of the handshake between President Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
