A 32-year old man is nursing serious injuries after he was attacked by angry locals after he was found having sex with a cow.
This happened on Tuesday in Nyangena, Nyamira County.
Samuel Oyondi was found in a bush where he had tied the neighbor’s cow having sex with it.
“I was with my daughter fetching firewood in the bush when we saw Oyondi naked doing bad manners with the cow. I screamed to attract members of the public who arrived and arrested him while naked,” said Faith Nyaboke.
Mrs. Nyaboke said the angry locals descended on the suspect with kicks and blows.
Area assistant chief Job Mbuya said the locals beat the man’s manhood.
“The locals attacked the man’s manhood saying his manhood led him to do bad manners with the neighbor’s cow. He was later rescued by Nyumba Kumi officials who surrendered him to my office,” he said.
Mbuya warned locals against attacking suspects because everyone is protected by the law.
He said the suspect was rushed to Nyamira County hospital for treatment and once he will be discharged the case will be heard and be determined.
