“Marianne’s life is in danger, and, as a result, she decided to device certain ways of keeping herself safe, including hiring armed bodyguards to protect her,” Omari told Chief Magistrate Peter Gesora as quoted by K24 Digital

However, his sentiments were rubbished off by Magistrate Gesora.

He directed Milimani Law Courts OCS to search the bodyguard for the said firearm.

The bodyguard was found with the said firearm and was asked to leave the courtroom.

The law states that no one should access the courtroom with a firearm. All court attendees are supposed to leave their firearms at security check desk.

After being ordered out of the court, drama ensured that lasted for about 10 minutes interrupting the ongoing witness testimony.

Senator Linturi and Maryanne Kitany are involved in a divorce case.

Various witnesses have testified in their ongoing case in which Linturi has declined ever marrying Kitany.
