A first-year Moi University female student on Monday night shocked her friends at the F2 club after she exposed her private parts in public.
The student, Maryam Chemutai famously known as 'Chemu' among her friends was dancing when she lifted her dress all of a sudden and tried to lower her underwear.
Chemutai's friends who had accompanied her to the club had to rush and rescue their drunk friend who would have otherwise embarrassed herself.
"She was getting extremely drunk and so we stopped her from taking more drinks. After we stopped her she stood up and begun dancing in front of us. Before we knew it, she had lifted up her short dress and was trying to remove her underwear," James Kimani who was among the friends narrated.
According to the friends, Chemutai had been dancing 'suggestively' before trying to strip.
One of her close friends who did not want her name mentioned, revealed that this was not the first time Chemutai had done such an act.
"There was a time Chemu also did almost the same thing at a birthday party that we had gone to. She usually loses control of herself when drunk," the friend said.
He further explained how they had tried talking her out of drinking without success. They, therefore, had to keep a close eye on her especially when she is drunk.
Such incidences bring into question the moral righteousness of university students.
