Gor Mahia have strengthened their midfield after they re-signed former star Kenneth Muguna.
The former Western Stima midfielder returned to the country, after failing to make an impact in Albania, where he played for topside KF Tirana.
Muguna was signed by former Gor Mahia coach Ze Maria, but could not make an impact, forcing the team to release him.
Ze Maria signed Muguna early this year alongside Musa Mohammed, who was formerly the Gor captain, having worked with both players.
According to Gor Mahia official, Muguna has signed a long-term deal with the champions.
“Muguna has signed a four-year contract and is back at Gor Mahia. He returned home and since he is unattached, we have decided to give him another chance to play for us,” said Judith Nyangi as quoted by Goal.com.
Muguna was instrumental for Gor in 2017, helping the team win their 16th title, scoring three and assisting 9 times. He was signed from Western Stima in 2017, at a reported fee of Sh2 million.
