A boda-boda rider committed suicide by hanging himself after he found his wife in the act with another man.
This happened on Sunday in Bogitocho village, Bomariba, Kisii County.
Neighbors said the deceased, Ronald Mose, returned home in the evening and found his wife having sex with a man in their bedroom.
“Mose has been complaining about the wife’s infidelity. He returned home on Sunday earlier than usual and found his wife in the act. He rushed to the cowshed and untied their cow and fled to a nearby tree where he hanged himself,” said James Mogaka.
Mogaka said the wife’s mpanga wa kando fled for his dear life because he feared Mose could attack him.
Area assistance chief, Erick Osoro said the man’s lifeless body was found hanging from a tree few meters from their home on Sunday night after his brother launched a search.
He said the wife has gone into hiding in fear of attack from angry residents.
