Tongues have been left wagging after reports emerged that a Russian private jet landed at Wilson airport on December 17, 2018 with an unknown mission.
According to the Nation, the plane landed just some thirty minutes to close of business at the airport. More details indicate that five people alighted from the Hawker 800XP plane of registration M-VITO immediately it touched down.
“The aircraft arrived at Wilson from Khartoum on December 17, 2018 at 1956hrs with a total of five on board. It departed for JKIA on December 20, 2018 at 1635hrs and later the same day at 1750hrs, it departed JKIA for Ndjamena-Chad with a total of seven on board,” revealed KCAA as quoted by the local daily.

The jet is reportedly owned by a shadowy 57 year-old Russian and Kremlin enjoying close links to Vladmir Putin, the Russian president. It is not yet clear if Mr Yevgeny was aboard the jet.
