Renowned economist and socio-political commentator Dr David Ndii has fired yet another salvo at controversial Canadian lawyer Miguna Miguna.
This time round, Ndii's guns were trained on Miguna's trademark 'viva' slogan.
Dr Ndii did not mince his words, disparaging the lawyer's viva slogan as "rubbish."
He called on Miguna to mind his business for good measure.
"As I keep telling you, the viva viva rubbish twitter general is a deep state weapon of mass distraction. Pili pili usioila yakuashia nini?" the economist fired, " Dr David Ndii's tweet read.
The barbed tweet marked another escalation in the vicious Twitterspat that the two have been locked in.
Dr Ndii's tweet was a response to Miguna's tweet that attacked civil society groups in the country, an attack that did not sit well with Ndii.
"To all foreign-funded civil society Kenyan groups:1. The only transformative mechanism for Kenya is a popular revolution. 2. Despots are not fought through prayers, meetings in 5-star hotels or "reforms" of the rotten system.#DespotsMustFall, " Miguna's tweet read.
Miguna's indiscriminate attacks on social media continue apace with scores of his followers accusing him of employing a rather distasteful approach to airing his views.
Since his dramatic deportation from Kenya to Canada, he has fired salvo after salvo on veteran opposition and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga.
