At least two high profile guests have confirmed attendance to Don Bosco Gichana's homecoming which will be held at Gusii stadium on Friday.
Supporters from both Kisii and Nyamira Counties are mobilising friends to fill the 40,000 sitter stadium, an event which Bosco said will use to bargain with other leaders.
The procession shall kick off from Keroka town before holding major prayer rally in memory of his mother Celine Gichana, who died in 2016 when he was still in Arusha prison.
"We shall hold a roadside rally at Keroka before moving to Gusii stadium. I am expecting thousands of people to attend.
"We also have Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula on the list of those coming. Local and regional leaders have been invited as well," he said.
Besides gospel songs, guests will be entertained by local artists with different genres of music after which VIP guests shall address teh gathering.
While in Tanzania prison, Bosco confirmed that it's only Kalonzo Musyoka who visited him and offered pro bono on his money laundering and fraud case.
He was sentenced to five years in prison on top of Sh15 million fine which Raila Odinga and William Ruto participated in clearing.
Both Raila and Ruto, despite expectations that they would attend, will however not feature in the event.
