A section of Jubilee leaders from Nyamira have backed the move by former Kitutu Masaba MP to challenge Appeals Court ruling on Nyamira gubernatorial elections at Supreme Court.
On Thursday, Justice Stephen Gatembu upheld Governor John Nyagarama's victory thus subjecting Nyambati to a second consecutive court defeat.
And with the former Jomo Kenyatta Foundation boss moving to Supreme Court, Jubilee leaders maintain that he has a right to exhaust all legal avenues.
"I don't see anything fishy about that as long as we want electioneering mood to come to an end. The petitioner has a right to be heard," said Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose.
His North Mugirango counterpart Joash Nyamoko also noted that the constitution allows satisfied parties to complain at the Supreme Court.
"He should not be condemned at all. Our constitution is very clear and we should support it at all times."
On Friday, lawyer Osoro Mogikoyo filed an Appeal Notice at the Supreme Court ahead of the epic battle.
At the Appeals Court, President Uhuru Kenyatta's lawyer Fred Ngatia was the lead counsel for Nyambati.
