Nyamira County MP Jerusha Momanyi has inconvenienced her political rivals who have been at loggerheads with her on grounds that she is sleeping on her job.

The Jubilee elected lawmaker on Monday gave out full sponsorship to 80 youths drawn from various of the county to undertake vocational and technical courses at NITA training centers in Kisumu and Nairobi campuses. 

"I am committed to ensure our youths get proper skills to enable them start small businesses to boost their lives. My opponents must now go back to the drawing board to come up with new tactics to criticize my leadership," she said. 

She appealed to the youths who benefited from the program to work hard so that they can get skills to help them in life. 

"Youths once they will complete their training they will be able to create self-employment. Local politicians should join hands and ensure more youths are recruited for the program courtesy of National Government Affirmative Fund in future," said the MP. 

Ms Jerusha urged Nyamira residents to keep off politicians engaging in divisive politics with an aim of chasing political fame.
