Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi has revealed his stand in the ongoing graft war.
Maangi while speaking when he accompanied the Deputy President William Ruto during Tabaka Mission Hospital's Laboratory ISO Certification ceremony in South Mugirango said he is at the front line in the war against corruption.
He underscored that public funds must be put to proper use for the country to realise development.
"Public funds must be used wisely in funding various projects in this country. I wish to confirm that I'm in support of the ongoing graft war," he said.
He appealed to the DCI, EACC and DPP to ensure that those who stole funds meant for the construction of dams are apprehended and prosecuted.
"Leaders should learn to use public funds well. Anyone who is not accountable on how he or she has used public money should be arrested to face the full force of the law," he stated.
Maangi who has shown interest in Kisii's governorship come 2022 said the war of words between leaders over the war on graft should cease.
South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro hosted the DP.
