Master John Onkendi, first resurfaced in an amateur video that went viral online in which his masterly skills on contemporary affairs thrilled Kenyans.

And having expressed his loyalty to the Mombasa Road station, management traced the young boy and got hold of him in Kisii on Thursday.

In the viral video, Onkendi admits that he had been taken to special school because guardians thought he was mad.

Narrating his awful experience that includes living with a disadvantaged aunt and non existing parents, Kenyans raised funds to have the boy supported.

"I am happy with Radio Maisha, which is my second home. The money you've sent will be used to purchase for my uniform and shoes.

"I'd love to go back to school. Also, we don't have a house at home and this will help me too," said the joyful boy.

For the better part of Friday morning, social media users lauded Radio Maisha for the initiative.

A part from the contributions, Radio Maisha had also purchased a number of items for him among them shoes, shirts and trousers before the show.

Interestingly, he knows all presenters of the Standard Group Radio besides having a strong grasp of most of EPL players.
