Albert Nyaundi while speaking in Nyamira town on Monday evening regretted that DP Ruto's decision to oppose the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) is a clear indication that he lacks respect to the President.

"It is so unfortunate that the President and his Deputy are not reading from the same script. I want to challenge DP Ruto to show respect to his boss and ensure he respects the decisions made by the president. DP Ruto's move to oppose the BBI, an initiative of the President and the former Prime minister Raila Odinga is uncalled for," Nyaundi noted.

According to the vocal politician, DP Ruto is more focused on 2022 politics and succession instead of first prioritizing the unity of Kenyans.

He stated that DP Ruto is jeopardizing the leadership of this country by forming a political group 'tanga tanga' with the aim of engaging in early 2022 campaigns.

"It is important for DP Ruto to know that it is not a guarantee that having served as President Uhuru Kenyatta's deputy for two terms means he is the next president. The presidency was not meant for two tribes," he added.
