Now in 2020, with President Uhuru Kenyatta keen to root out  runaway graft in the country, all eyes are on Haji.

For the two years has been in office, the son of Garissa Senator Yusuf Haji has ruthlessly taken the country's big boys head-on. Many have been arrested, arraigned in court and barred from office.

For the first time after many years, high-profile arrrests have been made. The once "big fish" have not been spared either. Literally, the DPP means business.

Yet, 2020 provides a new challenge for him. Will he sustain his war against graft? How many people will be prosecuted? Is he going to present strong cases in court with water-tight evidence? These are some of the questions Haji will have to address.

Having been accused by a section of politicians of allegedly being used to settle political scores, the Wales-trained lawyer will have another busy yet challenging year especially when handling corruption cases linked to politicians.

However, after two glorious years in office, the former National Intelligence Service personnel couldn't be even more prepared.
