Kipkorir said that it was 'tragic' that those who voted for Uhuru to serve his second and final term, were now at the forefront undermining the President and blocking him from achieving his election pledges.

In a tweet on Tuesday, the flamboyant lawyer admitted he voted for ODM party leader Raila Odinga in the last general election, but noted he was rallying fully behind Uhuru to complete his term and leave a lasting legacy.

"In 2017, I voted Baba to be President and we “lost” ... But as a Constitutionalist, I full support Uhuru Kenyatta as my friend and President and I want him to complete his term ...But it’s tragic that those who voted “tano tena” are now sabotaging the Presidency and focusing on 2022," he posted.

Kipkorir insinuated that some MPs were receiving bribes to mislead poor residents in Uhuru's backyard to rise against him.

He cautioned the politicians against looking down upon the President over 2022 succession, noting it was too early for to write him off.

"What is even more tragic is those sabotaging the Presidency are the poorest and with least education...And misled by MPs who are on per diem and positioning themselves for 2022...Uhuru has THREE YEARS...It’s very stupid of those sabotaging him .. Three Years is Eternity!" Kipkorir added.
