Last week on Saturday, a video was shared on social media of a man being clobbered mercilessly by a woman in Roysambu, Nairobi County.
Many people have since tried to reach out to the victim to know why he was being assaulted.
On August 8, Citizen TV managed to reach out to this man and had an interview with him. The man, who identified himself as Kamau Wanjiru, revealed that he didn’t owe the woman any cash.
He stated that it was his friend who did not pay up his Sh200 beer debt.
“Si mimi nilikua nimekopa ni friend yangu. Ni three months ago. Wakaanza kunishambulia. Sikua na uwezo ingine.,” said Kamau.
Kamau who had been seriously injured after receiving a dogs beating from the woman has since had difficulties in walking.
He said the woman was a bartender and had since gone missing from that day.
The man who recorded the whole scene tried to help him but a group of rowdy youths held him back. He then decided to upload the video for action to be taken against the woman.
“I just decided to upload the video so that men can also get their rights,” said the man.
The woman has since gone missing and efforts to locate her have been in vain.
