Then, you should never miss having lunch. Like breakfast, lunch is an important meal for everyone hence missing it can be more than dangerous.

This particular meal has been linked to various health benefits.

Having lunch boosts the brain. Your brain needs enough foods for it to function smoothly. Lunch nourishes it.

"When you skip meals your blood sugar tends to drop when your blood sugar drops you'll experience fatigue, you'll feel sluggish... your brain needs glucose sugar to function well. When that doesn't happen, and your blood sugar dips, it drains your energy."

"Your brain is like a baby if you don't feed it if you don't nourish it, it's going to start crying," says Jacqueline Aizen, a nutritionist in an interview with Thrillist

The other benefit, it improves metabolism. High metabolism can make you more active and energetic. Lunch meal simply re-energizes you. If you skip, chances are, you may be dormant.

“Extended periods of starvation between large meals creates gaps which keep the metabolism from staying active,” says Dr Kurt Hong, the Center for Human Nutrition director of Huntington Medical Foundation.
