Speaking on Thursday during an interview on NTV, DP Ruto vowed never to allow BBI to divide Kenyans.

He also expressed concerns over the manner in which the current debate on BBI report is being handled by the political class.

"Five percent of the time is discussion of the subject and 95% is insults and name calling. Let us be honest, there were people who wanted to drive a narrative that William Ruto is going to oppose BBI," Ruto said as tweeted by NTV.

The Deputy President accused some politicians of using the Building Bridges Initiative to target him by creating political camps.

He also lamented about the divisions that BBI has invited in the ruling Jubilee party.

"In fact, some of them were dazed the day I said we support BBI. They said, we have list an opportunity because they are people who have been looking for an opportunity to creat camps," the DP said.

Dr Ruto also claimed that there is a plot by some leaders to violet inclusivity and unity being supported by BBI proposals.

"As much as we are talking about unity and inclusity, there are people who are hellbend on creating camps of yes vs no," he noted.
