West Mugirango Member of Parliament MP Vincent Kemosi has insisted that Deputy President William Ruto will be the next president.
Speaking at Kisii High school where DP Ruto was presiding over a fund drive in aid to build a modern art studio for Gusii politicians on Sunday, Kemosi endorsed the DP saying he is the right choice Kenyans should make in 2022.
"DP Ruto enjoys massive support across all corners of this country. He will definitely win 2022 and become the next president after President Uhuru Kenyatta," he noted.
The lawmaker allied to the NASA coalition said he will lead a team from Gusii region to ensure DP Ruto gets votes from the vote-rich region.
According to Kemosi, Gusii region is not an opposition stronghold as being claimed by some politicians.
"The truth is that the people of Nyamira and Kisii counties are clever enough these days, unlike the past. No one should chest thumb that the region is his or her stronghold. DP Ruto will get votes from the region," he noted.
The first-term MP further urged DP Ruto to continue traversing Gusii region helping and empowering people ahead of the 2022 polls.
