Member of Parliament for Nyaribari Masaba Ezekiel Machogu has said his mandate is to make sure that youths receive proper and quality education in Technical Institutions.
Speaking at Keroka Technical Training Institute, during an assessment of its credibility with the Permanent Secretary for Vocational Training Dr Kevit Desai, Machogu encouraged young people to register with vocational training institutions to better their future.
"Am calling upon all young people across my constituency to come and train themselves. Am willing to support training institutions together with County Government we will partner and see that our institutions are well equipped to produce competent reliable people in future," he said.
He called upon the national Government through the permanent secretary to highly consider Keroka Technical Training Institute to help those students who will be joining colleges in January 2019.
"I call upon the permanent secretary to consider this institution so that we decongest Kisii National Polytechnic and have students enrolling here as many as possible for quality training. I will work closely with the Kisii County Government through Governor Ongwae because his minister is here to see how we can help our young people," he added.
He also encouraged the youth to register companies so that they can be awarded government tenders.
