Activist Boniface Mwangi has hit out at Nyali MP Mohammed Ali for allegedly “putting his stomach before the country”.
The harsh reaction from Mwangi directed to the former investigative journalist was sparked by a statement he made on Hot 96 FM during an interview on Wednesday.
Ali asked Kenyans to stop complaining on social media and address issues of their concern face-to-face other than posting them on various social media platforms.
“Quit complaining on social media. Meet face to face. People type unrealistic things on social media. Ideas don't make sense. Be man, woman enough. Let's work, fight differently but together for revolution,” stated the MP.
However, the activist hit out at him saying there is no revolution when legislators support thieves.
“A revolution of supporting thieves @MohaJichoPevu is no revolution! You called Ruto a thief on the @KoinangeJeff Tv show, has he returned what he stole? Has he reformed? Values are non-negotiable Moha and its clear you have put your stomach before country,” tweeted Mwangi.
Some Kenyans on Twitter seconded Mwangi's sentiments saying the MP has already been corrupted by the system.
@Jaguarboss said: "@Mohajichopevu- umeungana nawenzako (Mpigs) kula na kutukandamiza!...kumbuka methali hii- Papa aliliwa, yuala, ala na aliwa."
@_ihajoshua tweeted: "Moha you've joined your fellow mpigs, stop acting smart."
