"Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital has enough drugs with well trained and skilled nurses and doctors serving at the facility. The claims that medics are rude to patients are false and pure propaganda being sponsored by my political rivals," he said.

"I am not ready to exchange words with some individuals idling in villages to spread propaganda against my leadership. I am committed to serving the electorates as I promised during the last year's polls," he stated.

Ongwae maintained that there is a plentiful supply of water at the facility for patients to use.

"There is a borehole at Kisii Teaching and Referral hospital which is providing water for use. There are plans to dig another borehole at the facility to boost water supply. Residents should ignore propaganda going around that my government has done nothing to improve the state of the hospital," he added.

The Governor urged Kisii residents to visit KTRH to seek medical attention.
