Deputy President William Ruto has defended the Jubilee Government over claims of failure to tame the graft menace and theft of public coffers.
In an interview on NTV on Sunday, the DP, however, acknowledged that the government is facing an uphill task taming the vice.
He, however, noted that the Jubilee regime's achievements outweigh its failures, urging the nation to concentrate on the positive, and not only judge Jubilee basing on the rising graft.
"Kenya has made major achievements under the Jubilee leadership. Sometimes we focus on the wrong things. We have done a lot and made more achievements compared to the scandals" he said.
Ruto also noted that the nation has for long now been a victim of bad leadership, explaining that it risks not making major strides due to the presence of negative leaders operating on visionless ideologies.
He urged all Kenyans to rally behind Jubilee as it reverses the same, adding that it has a good vision for the nation and is on course in bettering the nation as is evident in its score sheet.
"The biggest threat to Kenya is the visionless and incompetent leadership. We need the Jubilee vision to transform the nation," he added.
