In yet another controversial statement that might not go well with the current composition in the country's judicial system, lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has claimed that David Maraga is the most corrupt Chief Justice that the country has ever had since independence.
Making the allegations via his official twitter handle, Ahmednasir alleged that Maraga's present tenure as the head of the country's judicial system has been marred with numerous cases of corruption, tribalism and compromised politics.
The vocal lawyer further went ahead to list other Chief Justices that he has served under in his legal profession, referring them as being better than the present Maraga.
"I was admitted to the Bar in 1993 by CJ Hancox and practiced before CJs Cockar, Chesoni, Apaloo, Chunga, Gicheru, Willy and now Maraga. I have never practised before a more inept, corrupt, tribal and politically compromised judiciary as is the judiciary is now under CJ Maraga," Ahmednasir revealed in a post.
This is not the first time the Garissa-born lawyer is blasting the judiciary.
In March this year, Ahmednasir faulted Maraga and a section of Supreme Court Judges for engaging in politics when they nullified President Kenyatta's and DP Ruto's win in a case he represented them.
