Speaking in Nyeri Town on Sunday, Kamanda who led a delegation of Jubilee Party politicians opposed to the DP warned Ruto to prepare for more trouble.

He took issue with the DP for calling him an old man early last week, vowing to pile more pressure on him as he seeks to have the DP held accountable for corruption dealings he has allegedly taken part in.

The former Starehe MP questioned the DP's integrity, noting that he has a lot lying on his shoulders and is yet to clear his name in the land scandals he has been implicated in.

"I am not relenting and if you are now calling me an old man then you already feel the pressure. I will put ten times more pressure on you," he was quoted by the Standard.

Kamanda was speaking in the company of area MP Ngunjiri Wambugu and 15 other MPs during a rally at Nyeri downtown, after a church service at St Peter's ACK Church.

Kamanda has been leading a rival faction of Jubilee Party which is completely opposed to the DP dubbed 'Kieleweke', which is questioning Ruto's leadership.

This has led to reccurent war of words between it and the group loyal to the DP.
