Rarieda Member of Parliament Otiende Amollo has revealed that he does not entirely benefit from his parliamentary earnings.
In a tweet Saturday, the first-time lawmaker noted that the money goes back to the less fortunate members of his constituency, through his 'Ondoa Nyasi' program.
The leader has since his election been spearheading the establishment of better housing structures for widowed members of his area, where he channels the funds to.
He revealed that he spends Sh70, 000 per single project, this being a single housing structure.
Amollo further vowed to keep doing it throughout his leadership tenure, stating that his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) allocation cannot be used for the purpose.
"For the avoidance of doubt, I do, and will keep doing Ondoa Nyasi. I spend 65% of my Bunge earnings doing 5 every month @ 70K each. CDF Funds cannot be used for this," reads the tweet in part.
He added that he has 260 pending requests currently, urging well wishers and other interested parties to jump on board and aid in the betterment of the lives of the people.
"Anyone willing is welcome to assist, including building a MORE EXPENSIVE Structure. Have 260 pending requests," added the youthful legislator.
