Top Ohangla Rhumba Musician Prince Indah famously known as Janabi has cancelled all shows planned for this week after getting involved in a road accident in Kisumu on Sunday morning.
According to the musician’s Manager Pius Omudho a.k.a Live Wire, Prince Indah was involved in an accident at Kisumu’s Patel Flats at around 4:30 am on Sunday morning after performing at Club Joventures on Saturday night.
The accident occurred after the driver of the car they were travelling in lost control and rolled over.
“There were no serious injuries only a broken bone connecting the neck and right shoulder of Prince Indah, and the minor bruises of Okullo Junior (who was driving). The other two (younger brother to Indah and our security guy known as REAGAN) survived unhurt,” said the Manager.
As a result, he said that all shows planned for this week have been cancelled to afford Indah adequate time for proper medication and recovery.
The Manager indicated that they may resume their shows on the 24th of this month or next year all depending on Indah’s recovery process.
Prince Indah under the Malaika Ohangla Rhumba Band is famed for his popular songs among them Nyar Kisumu, Weche Hera, Maria, Jamriambo, Zena, Sigand Luo, Uchumi and Cyndarela among others.
