Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna now claims that President Uhuru Kenyatta will soon embark on a campaign to brutalize politicians allied to his deputy William Ruto.
This comes amid a said widening rift between Uhuru and Ruto, which can be traced back to March 2018 when Uhuru and Orange Party Movement (ODM) boss Raila Odinga.
Since, Uhuru has been appearing to isolate the DP, with the vocal barrister now warning that he might soon maul a number of the DP's supporters should they not take caution.
He says Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi and Migori governor Okoth Obado as part of the persons who could soon be in trouble.
In a tweet on Monday, he advised the group to either combat Uhuru or surrender, at a time when a number of the DP's political friends from Mt Kenya appear already in trouble.
"In other words, Kipchumba Murkomen, Aaron Cheruiyot, Kimani Ichung'wa, Alice Wahome, Oscar Sudi, Ferdinand Waititu, Okoth Obado, Ndindi Nyoro and other William Ruto political lieutenants please prepare for worse or surrender. You either defeat the despot or he mauls you alive," he tweeted.
He made the remarks shortly after the arrest of Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro who is being accused of assaulting a police officer after disrupting a church fundraiser in Kiharu, Sunday.
Kandara MP Alice Wahome has also claimed that she is being targeted over her support for the DP, only months after another group had its security detail withdrawn over similar wrongs.
Nyoro and Wahome have blamed their woes on their dalliance with Ruto, but have both vowed to stand firm in their political beliefs, only months after Uhuru warmed against such.
