The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has made public the identities of 5 Rai murder suspects that its sleuths arrested on Saturday morning as it released more information on the suspects.
The five were arrested in connection with the murder of former Rai Cement General Manager Chetan Vyas.
In a post on its Twitter feed, the DCI shared the names of the suspects and their ages, saying that 2 guards were helping with the investigations.
Their ages range from 24 to 38.
The Suspects; 38-yr-old Azim Salim, 24-yr-old Osman Noor, 38-yr-old Mohamed Shahid, 24-yr-old Yacoob Wali and 29-yr-old Shabdin Ismail(EX Saudi Arabia & Qatar security guard) are assisting in further investigations, " the tweet read.
In another tweet, the DCI said that the suspects were all loading supervisors and called on companies employing foreign-trained personnel to seek clearance from law enforcement authorities.
It also said that the possible element of terror in the cold blood murder was also being probed by the investigative sleuths.
"They are all Loading Supervisors in Rai Cement Company from Mombasa. The aspect of Terror is also being investigated in the murder. The DCI Cautions Companies who employ foreign-trained personnel to always seek their Clearance from DCI, which is done thro' Interpol Coordination, " the tweet read.
