Kitutu Chahche South MP Richard Onyonka has insisted that he will vie for Kisii governorship in 2022.
Speaking in his constituency on Wednesday, he reiterated that his dream to vie for Kisii county governorship is still valid.
He said his eyes are fixed on succeeding incumber James Ongwae having served his constituents diligently.
"I'm a happy man having served my constituents well and I am still delivering my campaign promises until 2022 when I will run for the top seat. It is important for the people of Kisii County to know that I will be on the ballot," he said.
Onyonka noted that under his tenure as MP, he has never misappropriated funds which makes him the best choice for the Governor of Kisiii in 2022.
The legislator who decamped from ODM to Ford Kenya during the 2017 polls said the party which will sponsor him in 2022 doesn't matter.
"Kisii residents will make a right choice electing me in 2022 and not the party which I will be vying on," he added.
