Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe was on Tuesday evening treated to a surprise birthday party at the office by her bosses.
The journalist who was away from the office attending a court session received the surprise shortly after arriving at the office late in the afternoon.

Citizen TV Director of Innovation and Strategy Linus Kaikai, and the Editorial Director Joe Ageyo led the newsroom in celebrating Maribe's birthday.

Earlier on, Maribe's dad surprised her with a cake outside the court where she was set to attend a mention of her case.

During the court session, the Office Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) noted that the prosecution will not release the car belonging to Maribe until the Government Chemist avails the forensic report of Monicah Kimani's murder.
Maribe and her fiance Joseph Irungu are key suspects in the murder of a Ms Kimani.
