For the second time in as many weeks, ODM leader Raila Odinga returned to Nairobi Hospital where he paid a courtesy call to Migori Women Representative Pamela Odhiambo.
A fortnight ago, Raila visited the facility impromptu where he reportedly cleared bills amounting to Sh20 million for patients.
After a brief tour Zimbabwe, Odinga made a brief stopover at Nairobi Hospital where he visited the MP who was involved in a grisly accident in October.
"I take this opportunity to thank my party leader ,the people's president H.E the Right Hon.Raila Odinga for standing with me during this saddest moment of my life.
"For the second time, my party leader has shown his care and love for me by taking his time along his busy schedule to visit me at Nairobi Hospital where I've been for a couple of weeks after the tragic accident which claimed the life of my bodyguard Mr.Fred owichowich," she wrote.https://www.facebook.com/701892450003497/posts/1051129178413154/
Mrs Odhiambo was heading to Homa Bay for a fund drive when her vehicle veered off the road and rolled several times near Rongo.
Of the five occupants of the Ill fated Toyota Double Cabin, only Mr Fred Owich, her personal guard who perished.
"So far my condition has improved and I thank God for the gift of life and having saved me from the cruel jaws of death. I'm undergoing physiotherapy after which I'll be discharged to continue serving my constituents," she said.
Mr Odinga is struggling to stamp authority in the South Nyanza region following the rebellion waged by Migori County Governor Okoth Obado.
