She is also a philanthropist and fashion enthusiast.

Kambua was born and raised in Nairobi.

She is the second born in a family of three.

The gospel music singer schooled at Kianda primary school in Nairobi.

While in primary school, she was involved in choirs and Christian Union (CU) activities which she says strengthened her religious upbringing.

After her primary education, she proceeded to Lukenya Academy where her love for music grew.

After her secondary education at Lukenya, Kambua worked with Heart Strings Theatre as an actress in shows like "Family Business" and "Something burning."

The gospel singer then enrolled for a Bachelor’s Degree in Music at Ambrose University in Canada.

In 2007, she managed to complete her summer performance program (certificate) at Berkelee College of Music in Boston.

After her Degree, Kambua engaged more in church choirs and later released her first song ‘Nishikilie’.

She also featured in several commercials as an actress and voice-over artist.

In 2008, she won the KISIMA Female artist of the year and the Groove Awards songwriter of the Year in 2012.

Kambua has two albums ‘Nishikilie’ and ‘Nyumbani’.

She is finalizing on her third album that has songs like "Again" and "Umetenda mema."

Kambua joined Royal Media Services in March 2010 as Rauka show host and currently hosts the "Kubamba" gospel show on Citizen TV.

Kambua is married, she tied the knot with Pastor Jackson Mathu in 2012.

When she is not singing and hosting gospel events, Kambua likes traveling and making friends.

She has a sense of fashion and loves shoes and hats.
