Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti is among the leaders who have condoled with families and relatives of the Ethiopian Airlines plane crash that claimed 157 lives on Sunday morning.

Ndeti took to her twitter account to send condolences to the families of the plane crash's victims.

"My deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those who tragically lost their lives in the #EthiopianAirlines plane crash," Ndeti tweeted on Sunday.

The former MP added, "It is in moments like this that we remember how fragile and precious life is. We mourn with you and send our thoughts and prayers. May God continue to grant you strength and comfort during this difficult time."

According to a statement by the Ethiopian Airlines, all the 157 passengers aboard the ill-fated plane died.

The statement revealed that 32 Kenyans died in the crash.

The plane crashed early Sunday on its way from Addis Ababa to Nairobi.

The Kenyan government has since dispatched a team to Ethiopia to gather details on the crash.

The team according to Transport Cabinet Secretary (CS) James Macharia will coordinate the post-plane crash.

President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga led Kenyans in condoling with the families of the crash victims.
