Kibwana, a politician and human rights activist, believes in nothing but democracy. 

The second term county boss, who once served as Minister for Defence, has been giving former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka sleepless nights after he declared that he cannot be compelled to support the latter's presidential candidature in 2022 polls.  

The former advisor to President Mwai Kibaki has caused a political storm in Ukambani with his utterances.

He remains one of the most influential leaders from the region.

Kibwana studied at Nduundune Primary School before he joined Machakos School (1969-1973) where he pursued his O’ and A’ Levels. 

He later enrolled for tertiary education at the University of Nairobi where he obtained a Bachelors Degree in Law (Upper Second Class Honours).

Due to his love for education, he enrolled and completed a Masters of Law Degree at the same institution in 1984.

Kibwana graduated from Harvard University in June 1984. 

His entry into the political arena has seen him grow from strength to strength.

Today, he is among the leaders whose words cannot be ignored in Ukambani and the entire nation.

Kibwana also enjoys good performance scoreboard that has made many residents to admire his leadership.
