In a country clamoring on the political noise,TangaTanga members, a group allied to Deputy President William Ruto have been urged to gather courage and leave the government instead of ranting all over.
Renowned lawyer and socio-political commentator Donald Kipkorir has come out and dared the Ruto allied team to have the courage and walk out.
Taking to Twitter on Thursday, the Korir dared the group to seek a fresh mandate from the people if they felt they had the numbers and popularity.
He claimed that the DP Ruto-allied group was undermining the head of state.
"TangaTanga must have courage, resign from Government & seek fresh mandate from the people if they are so popular. Their unceasing pontificating & talking down the President indirectly is hypocrisy & cowardice. Real men fight symmetric wars .. Terrorists & cowards fight asymmetric, " the lawyer said.
Members of Tanga Tanga have taken lately to firing at President Uhuru Kenyatta, fueling speculation of a split within the governing Jubilee party.
The Kandara member of parliament Alice Wahome a few days ago lashed out at the president, claiming that he was undermining democracy in the country by limiting freedom of speech.
President Uhuru himself has denied that his administration is keen on reducing the democratic space.
Since the dramatic handshake between the president and his longtime adversary ODM leader Raila Odinga, there have been wrangles between Tanga Tanga and those in support of the handshake.
