Bongo superstar Diamond Platnumz is once again in love, and this time around, with a Kenyan lady, Tanasha Donna Oketch. Tanasha who is 22-years-old is reportedly from Mombasa, with Italian roots.
When the Kwangwaru hitmaker was in the country last weekend for a show in Thika, it is Tanasha who went to the airport to pick him.
Diamond has confirmed that it is Tanasha who will become his official wife in the near future. Diamond sired two kids with Ugandan socialite Zarinah Hassan, famously known as Zari the boss lady, but their marriage was never official.
Speaking to Tanzania's Ijumaa Newspaper, the 'Sikomi' hitmaker said Tanasha is more beautiful and ready to settle down with him, unlike all the other women he had in the past.
Some of the women he had include Zari, Hammisa Mobetto, Wema Sepetu, among others.
“Tanasha ndiye mwanamke pekee aliyeonesha kujali na uzito juu ya jambo hilo hivyo rasmi natangaza kumuoa huyu. (She is the only woman who strongly considered marriage with me, and I'm ready to marry her)
"Ana sifa zote za mwanamke wa kuoa, lakini unajua sisi wanaume wengi huwa tunaangalia sura, umbo na vingine vya mwilini kisha ndiyo inafuata tabia. Lakini nimejiridhisha kwamba mbali na umbo na mvuto wa kipekee pia ni mwanamke mwenye tabia nzuri. (She got everything every man wants) said Diamond when asked why he chose Tanasha.
If Diamond ends up marrying Tanasha, he will be the second big name from Tanzania's music industry to marry from Kenya after his great rival, Ali Kiba, who married a lady from Mombasa.
