Immediate former Kenya pipeline company boss Joe Sang continue to spend nights behind the bars after he was arrested by DCI detectives over corruption allegations.
Sang's arrest came after his resignation as he allegedly received a call from State House asking him to choose between resigning and being arrested.
Some politicians from the Rift Valley region and mostly those who are allied to Deputy President William Ruto termed the arrest of Sang and other nine former CEOs from the Kalenjin community as efforts to sabotage DP's presidential bid.
They say that there is an ill motive behind the sacking of CEOs from one community.
DP Ruto has however remained neutral on the issue saying independent institutions mandated to fight graft should be allowed to deliver their mandate without politicizing their actions.
Here is a list of the former CEOs who hail from DP Ruto home region and are being investigated by Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) over billions of shillings allegedly lost under their watch;
1. Joe Sang – Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC)
2. Newton Terer- National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB)

4. Lily Koros- Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH)
