Coast based Modern Coast Fc are looking for a new head coach following the departure of immediate former tactician Ahmed 'Mohaa' Mohammed to a Kenya Premier League side. The National Super League (NSL) side on Tuesday announced the vacancy and indicated that among the duties of the new tactician would be to oversee a recruitment trials for the club ahead of the 2018 season."Negotiations are at an advanced stage to acquire a new coach. We have held interviews with several interested coaches with different qualifications and experiences and hopefully we will get one in the near future together with his assistants,"club secretary Ferdinand Ogot revealed to local sports website Futaa .Ahmed exited the club after a lengthy spell with Rangers after newly promoted Wazito Fc came calling five days ago.The new tactician is however expected to have a not so smooth ride as Rangers largely disappointed in the recent 2017 NSL campaign where they managed position eleven with 41 points. However as part of bettering the results the club has since opted for a rigorous trials session slated for January 8 at the club's Changamwe Refinery training ground where they intend to snap several exciting talent aimed at bolstering the squad.
