Nyamira County Deputy Governor Amos Nyaribo has dismissed claims that his relationship with Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama is crippled.
Mr Nyaribo, who accompanied Nyagarama to commission series of development projects in the county on Thursday, said rivals are out to finish them politically.
"My relationship with Governor Nyagarama is intact. Those claiming the relationship is not firm are lying only doing it to gain political fame," he said.
The Deputy Governor assured that he is focused to help Mr. Nyagarama deliver to Nyamira electorates before 2022.
He appealed to Nyamira locals to be calm and shun divisive politicians.
"Locals politicians engaging in retrogressive politics should be avoided by all means. This is the time we should unite as leaders to ensure our people are getting affordable healthcare, proper education for children, improved roads and more drugs with equipments be stocked in public hospitals," he added.
Nyaribo challenged Nyagarama to ignore critics who are out to spread propaganda about the county leadership and serve the people of Nyamira.
"The electorates gave Nyagarama and I mandate to serve them and not some individuals interested in propaganda. Nyamira locals deserve development," stated Nyaribo.
