Orechi while speaking in Kisii town said no boda boda rider will be allowed to operate without meeting the set traffic rules.

"On behalf of boda-boda riders in Kisii County, I want to assure Mr Matiang'i that we are ready to cooperate and comply with the set road rules. We don't want to have difficult times with police," he stated.

Mr Orechi added that Matiang'i who comes from Gusii region should be respected.

"We must respect Matiang'i so that boda-boda riders in other parts of the country can follow our example. We have resolved that all riders across the county will ensure they are complying to the set traffic rules more particularly the famous 'Michuki rules' which Matiang'i introduced," he added.

He appealed to boda-boda riders to stop engaging in criminal activities such as stealing from clients.
