Who was Kobe Bryant?
Sources say the 41-year-old basketball star walked down the aisle with his love, Vanessa Laine, back in 2001. The couple then welcomed their firstborn daughter in January 2003.
However, 10 years later, precisely on December 16, 2011, his wife filed a divorce for what she termed as irreconcilable differences between them, Daily Express UK reports.
They then agreed to jointly take care of their daughters. Fortunately, they only stayed away from each for just about 2 years, and on January 11, 2013, they both took to social media and announced to their fans that they had terminated their divorce agreement.
The couple was blessed with four children, all girls, in names; Natalia Diamante Bryant, Bianka Bella Bryant, Gianna Marie-Onore Bryant and Capri Kobe Bryant.
Kobe Bryant named his last-born daughter after himself. The girl was born in June 2019 is almost a year old.
